Lev Landau’s Google Doodle: Lev Landua is Nobel prize winning physicist of Soviet. On 22nd Jan 2019, Google celebrated his 111th birth anniversary. He got Nobel Prize in the year 1962 for Physics. In 1962 he and E.M. Lifshitz received Lenin Science Prize for Theoretical Physics course. (was born on 22nd Jan 1908).

Ban of Indian currency notes above rupees 100 is announced by Nepal’s Central Bank: Now Nepali people can not carry Indian notes of Rs 200, 500 and 2000 dominations. This will affect the Indian tourists who travel to Himalayan nation, because until now Indian currency is being used there widely.

Launch of UNNATI programme: K. Sivan, the Chairman of ISRO has launched this programme. In this programme India will train other 45 countries. UNNATI stands for- Unispace Nanosatellite Assembly and Training by ISRO. There will be around 30 participants from different counties like Egypt, Brazil, Bhutan etc.
