Karnataka Sports Ministry demands Rs. 500 crores for the promotion. In the state budget 2019-20 the Karnataka Ministry for Youth Empowerment & Sports said that he has sought 500 crore rupees for promotion of sports and for infrastructure facilities. For promotion of sports they have identified 4 divisions- Bengaluru, the coastal region, Hyderabad Karnataka and North Karnataka.
