Jiban Sampark Project is announced by Odisha CM. This project is to create awareness among the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups of the state about the welfare initiatives and development of the state govt. “Jaban Smarak” is announced by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. In this project focus areas will be empowering communities, skill development, innovation, cooperation among groups. ( Among 75 tribal communities, 12 far off areas, 13 Particulary Vulnarable Tribal Groups).

India has become the second largest crude steel producer in the world. Until now Japan was the 2nd largest and now India replaced Japan. The largest producer of crude steel is China. According to the report of global steel body China’s output of crude steel increased by 6.6 percent in 2018 from 2017.

GST on Haj has been reduced to 5 percent. Mukhtar Abbas, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs said that the GST on Haj has reduced to 5 percent from 18 percent. And he also said that for the first time 2340 women from India will go on 2019 (without Meharam), this is for the first time after independence of India.
